I know you are excited to be 19.
I know you think it's wonderful.
It's weird for me, but I am happy for you.
But mostly?
Mostly I am proud.
Proud that you are so fearless....
That you live your life out loud.
That you don't let anyone tell you who you are.
Not me.
Not your friends.
Not a magazine.
And certainly not Hollywood.
You are proud of who you are and you
wave your flag high.
I know I have told you this before,
but listen carefully now, please.
You couldn't have turned out any better.
The choices that got you here were spot on.
Don't waver in your path....never waver.
