The thing about #4.

There are a few things you may not know about #4:
She is my only daughter who looks exactly like me- From the neck down, that is.
She will try anything once, even though she is only a 7 year old girl.
Her favorite place to shop is Barnes and Noble.
She is the only person alive who doesn't like Sonic's Lemon Berry slush.
She wants a trained rat for Christmas.
And her very best friend is a boy named E.
4 and E have been friends since they were 1 and 2, respectively. They are now 7 and 8, respectively. That, my friends, is a really long time if you are 7. They attend the same class, in the same grade, at the same school. They spend their before school time together and their after school time together, at Aunt Melissa's. They are inseparable.

This week, they experienced the first blip in their relationship. Sources say there may have been name calling, threats, maybe even a slap. If sources can be trusted.

4 came home from school for two days in a row so dejected you would have thought Hannah Montana fell off the planet. It was that bad. Apparently, the suave E quickly moved on to some new female playmates. Right in front of 4. Right in front of her!

But by the 3rd day, the magnetic forces who are 4 and E could not be kept apart any longer. They reunited on the monkey bars at morning recess, and all was well.

There are reports, however, that the new girls stuck around to play.

And that is good news indeed. E won't be around forever, as they are destined to part in 7th grade. And 4 would do well to try to make some friends who are girls.

But until then...........

4's world has been set to rights.
