Mesa High School's Winter Formal 2010.
It was supposed to be Mesa High School's Winter Formal 2009, but because of that UNBELIEVABLE football team (led by my favorite boy Jaymen) who made it all the way to the Arizona 5A State Championship game ,and lost to a highly recruited Hamilton. (Mesa High was a true neighborhood team, Hamilton was completely recruited.) That's all I'm going to say. Except that they are cowards. Hamilton that is. I mean, what's wrong with the boys in their Hood? We did pretty great with just the boys in our Hood. And that's why our team was UNBELIEVABLE and theirs were cowards.
But I digress.
Back to Winter Formal.... the date got changed a few times and ended up in 2010.
Look at her fabulous dress..... shout out to my FIRST cousin Amber for letting us shop in her dress closet. I mean, 2 is a sophomore, she will be borrowing dresses for at least another year.

They had a super fun day date, going up to a friend's cabin with a big group of kids. Sledding, snowball fights, and gingerbread houses.

She completely takes my breath away. I was teary for two hours after she left. I just can't believe she is going on dates. It was definitely a little easier because the boy was so nice.
And he IS a very nice boy. Even if he accidentally got a purple ribbon on the corsage. We'll let that one slide this time.Dear #2,
