Years ago, when #1 and #2 were tiny little girls of about 7, I took ALOT of pictures. I have so many pictures of 1 and 2 it's rather embarrassing. You would have thought they were the only little girls to ever grace the Earth.
Fast forward 6 years and then came #3. #3 might have fallen victim to the "oops, didn't we EVER take any pictures of you?" situation of so many middle and youngest children. However, #3 came out looking like a Papoose. An honest-to-goodness Papoose. And since I have no Native American in me, and I'm pretty sure her father doesn't, she was quite the surprise.
Because she was so incredibly striking, I have to say that we did, again, over do the picture taking.
Fast forward 2 years and then came #4. I am sorry to say that #4 HAS fallen victim to the youngest child "oops, didn't we EVER take any pictures of you?" situation.
I'm not proud of it.
So, every now and then, I try to whip out my camera for no particular reason, and take some pictures of 4. Unfortunately, 4 hates the camera.

ReplyDeleteThe last time Adam came down for a visit, we all went to Val Vista Lakes to get family pics taken. I started crying and bawling and screaming, and apparently became afraid of the water for that 1 night. Let's just say, my brothers wanted to kill me, my parents wanted to kill me, and now, looking back and I don't have any decent pictures with my big brother Adam, I would have wanted to kill me too...
Just be glad she didn't undo her hair too, as a certain little girl used to do when I wanted to take her picture. Now all I have is pictures with hairdo's that a 4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18 yeal old would do.
