Trip to see my #1 Post 1.

For years and years, ten to be exact,
I had only one, then two daughters.

For some of those years,
I contemplated only having two daughters altogether.
Of course that's not how my story ended up, but that's another post

During those wonderful ten years, we lived in a small little town in the middle of nowhere. You know it is the middle of nowhere when it takes 1 1/2 hours to get to the mall. 1 1/2 hours!

Those were the days before digital cameras. The days when you had to get the little girls ready, then drive like crazy for 1 1/2 hours before they could mess up their hair. Then help an uninterested teenage girl try to get them both looking the same way at the same time, drive 1 1/2 hours back home, wait a week, drive 1 1/2 hours back to the mall, and pick which pictures you wanted to buy.

That's how it worked.

Those were the days of Kiddie Kandids. Tonight, in remembrance of those fabulous trips to the mall, please enjoy our all new re-enactments of some of our favorite poses

These are real poses from real pictures we really took. How much better does it get than that?

Not a real pose, but a real re-enactment of what the uninterested teenage girl used to go through trying to get a good picture.
I remember this one actually happening. It wasn't so funny back then.
This one WAS actually funny back then. Actually, this happened alot.
Getting more actual.......
And even more actual......
This one is extremely actual.
Okay, this one really did happen. Those of you who knew us back then has seen this adorable pose before.
Minus the fluffy dog. There were no fluffy dogs.
Calm down folks, this one never happened.
This one either......

This one happened. In January of 1994, on one of our
adventurous trips to
Kiddie Kandids 1 1/2 hours away at the mall.
Just look at my stunning girls.
And they are still stunning today.
And I think this re-enactment is
SPOT ON, don't you?
Happy New Year From #1's House Everybody.
