Hello Old Friend. I've Missed You.

My beautiful, beautiful Girls, circa 2003. 1 and 2 are sporting the beloved (by me) fluffy Angel look, compliments of my Magic Wand..... I used to have this amazing magic wand. Other people would call it a 3 barrelled curling iron. But to me, it was so much more. It regularly transformed my little girls in to fluffy-haired little Angels.

For some reason, I didn't see it much after the girls and I made the move from Utah to Arizona in January of 2004. Oh, it was around here and there, but it wasn't regularly where it was supposed to be.

The other day, 2 announced, "I'm going to L's house. She has the magic wand." My heart simply stood still. "What?" I gasped, " That is where my magic wand has been? Just around the corner?"

"You mean", I thought out loud, "I could have been transforming 3 and 4's hair into fluffy do's all along?" My heart sunk a little at the thought of so many lost opportunities for fluffy.

But then I rallied. Oh well. Better late than never I always say!

Only, now it is 2010. Maybe fluffy Angel hair is no longer in style. But like my fellow long-time Moms who are still mothering all around the World, I stick to what works.

And what I know to be simply adorable.

Below...... 2 circa 2002, in the 3rd grade.
One year older than 4 is now.
Like I've always said..... 4 is a little darker and a little bonier.
Other than that, same kid.

And here she is, modeled by my straight haired (today!) 3.
