Same calling, different E's.

The Husband is still a ward missionary. This is great for our family on so many levels. We kind of hope it never ends, even though we know that someday it will.

So many exceptional Elders come through our home. The girls are regularly inspired and blessed. It's like I have my own little parent helpers. For free!

Well, there was this one Elder...... Heaven help the little feller. He wasn't very helpful......

But other than that one special one, they are all very inspired and we are all very blessed. They joined us for dinner this evening, and left an awesome spiritual thought. They also ate a ridiculous amount of food.

Another reason why I don't have boys.

Okay this picture has absolutely nothing to do with being inspired or spiritually fed or anything. It's just 2 swinging in the front yard late on a Sunday afternoon.
What is better than that?

And off they go. They are on their way to tract. They cheerfully go out to tract, even in our seriously over-tracked area. And the reason they go forth cheerfully, I believe, is this:

"I am called of God. My authority is above that of Kings of the Earth. By revelation I have been selected as a personal representative of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is my Master and He has chosen me to represent Him - to stand in His place, to say and do what He Himself would say and do if He personally were ministering to the very people to whom He has sent me. My voice is His voice, and my acts are His acts; my doctorine is His doctorine. My commission is to do what He wants done; To say what He wants said; To be a living modern witness in word and deed of the divinity of His great and marvelous Latter Day work. How great is my calling!"
-Elder Bruce R. McConkie, My 1963 Missionary Commission

So inspiring. So powerful. So true of all the young men and women who have and are and will serve Him as full time missionaries.

Dear Todd:
Thanks for being a missionary. It blesses our family exponentially.
Love,
MaLeisa
