Thanks for the Picture from Facebook Mom.

Are you guys seeing this?

I so totally forgot what a Total Fox my mom is!!!!!
In other news:

I still refuse to smile with my mouth open.  Back then, who knows what my excuse was.  Now, everyone knows its because it adds like 38 pounds to my already chubby face.

I think I am going to have to face the fact that none of my girls really look like me.  Is that some kind of joke?  After all those years of raising girls?  One of them couldn't have morphed into me a little?  It's not like I was an unattractive child.  Except for my hair.  Why hair?  Why?

My brother had really shiny hair for a boy.  Is that normal?

I have always secretly hated turtlenecks.  But in this picture they totally work.  We look Awesome.

My mom is still a total fox.

I wish I could go back for just one day! I miss it all so much. Besides you not wanting to EVER let me do anything with your hair, it was hard to get it to stay in place. Sorry, you got my Grandma Henrie's hair, fine and thin.

  2. Hey Maleisa,

I got your comment about coming to New York for Thanksgiving. I don't have much first person advice because we've never done it, but I know that you want to get to your spot (somewhere on Central Park west) super early and that you should be prepared to wait. Bring fun things for your kids to do while waiting.

It's also fun to see the Rockefeller tree during the holidays (we've never seen the lighting, but same advice: show up early). If you don't go to the lighting of the tree, it's fun just to walk by and see it. Also walking down 5th ave is so fun - the windows are beautiful! And we always love to see Santa at the Macy's on 34th st.

Here's two post that might help you plan:

Also, I'm sure there's tons of info online:)

Hope this helps! Good luck! This city is magical during the holidays:)

    Cute blog and cute fam!
