Dear Children:
You guys are sometimes a handful.
And there are so many of you!
And one of you always needs SOMETHING from me.
And sometimes you are mouthy.
Sometimes you are lazy.
You give me dirty looks.
You whine and complain about practicing the piano and
you break your bones and
sometimes you need stitches.
Often you need time-outs.
Often I need time-outs.
Because my days feel like they are 57 hours long.
And every single stinking one of you are very messy.
(Girls! You should be ashamed of yourselves!!)
But I can tell you this:
Every single last ounce of my energy has been worth it.
Every exhausting moment.
It has all been worth it.
Being your mom has been better than just about
anything in the World.
It really has.
I'm so proud of every single one of you.
I love you all so much.
If you ever remember anything I have ever said to you,
please remember that.
